rules.]
OOC = out of character
IC = in character
Roleplaying in third person is preferred, but first person is allowed.
I. The words of Opal are law, but respect all the staff members. Actually, just respect everyone.
II. Be reasonable. That means you should be friendly and resolve disputes in a mature fashion, no drama, no trolling. Also, be polite, and respect everyone. Seriously, just use common sense. We will enforce this rule.
III. While you may have as many characters as you want, make no more than you can handle. All characters must be approved by a character bio staff member before they can be roleplayed.
IV. This is the type of RP where you make accounts for each character. Accounts can now be linked through a common email, so there should be no issue. You will also need an OOC account. If you're only going to make one character, you don't need an OOC account, but it's still preferred if you have one anyway.
V. In roleplay, no Mary Sues/Gary Stus.
VI. In roleplay, you may not godmod or powerplay.
VII. If you are having a dispute with another member, take it to PMs or contact a staff member to help resolve your issue.
VIII. No begging for things from other people, whether that's relationships or what.
IX. This is a literate RP. In accordance with our status as a literate RP, BE LITERATE. Typos on occasion are alright, but no text talk. Smilies are also fine, because everyone loves them.
X. No extreme amounts of romance or swearing. Fade to black. Gore is fine.
XI. Read the RP posts and respond with mirrored length. People put lots of time and effort into making their posts long. You should be able to find something to create a reasonable length reply from. If you're not going to bother to read and reply, don't bother to roleplay here. That said, we all go through writer's block, and we can completely understand that. But that doesn't excuse you from replying to a four-paragraph post with a five-line post.
XII. Up to three instances of liquid time are allowed, but they must all work out chronologically.
guidelines.]
I. It is strongly suggested (in the bolded font of a strong suggestion) that you read through all of the information available about the world to make an informed decision about what your character should be.
II. If you're new, post an introduction in the designated board. We'd love to get to know you!
III. There is no store here, so your characters can have all the powers they want. Do not abuse this.
IV. Please try and remember to log into all your accounts daily. It doesn't take much time (especially if your computer saves your login data) and it helps keep Eventide's image up for possible members and affiliates.
V. Above all, be friendly and polite! This is not the place to be rude or cause undue drama, and it's a bannable offence. We understand if you have a bad day, but pulling repeated crap like this will make us use our banhammer. So don't make us. ^^
Bold: your character/s speech
Italics: your character's thought
