Description:

Standing at a small 5'5" with dark sea green eyes and a mess of blonde hair, Kai can be described as a childish man. He holds himself to no particular standard, wearing whatever he finds enjoyable at the time. Whether that's formal wear, winter wear, or completely unreasonable light wear, he simply picks out his favorites for the day and continues forth. When he needs to go out in the cold, he'll wear a jacket that isn't too thick but isn't too light either. It seems to be mostly for keeping out the wind rather than keeping him warm.

Kai's body is what can be described as lean. He's definitely strong, with a lot of upper and lower body strength, but he doesn't spend too much time refining any particular muscle group. He knows the ability to be able to escape and run away is just as powerful as the ability to be able to fight and stand your ground. His skin is light, but not pale -- it has a lot of colour in it. Some freckles can be found on him, but they aren't splashed anywhere in particular. 

Personality:

Kai is what can best be described as an energetic ball of happiness. A smile is often on his face, his eyes light up at the smallest things, and he practically beams when people talk to him. Of course, he's no god, and he has his off days just as often, but he is more than certainly a person of happiness and being social before anything else. In his mind, the idea of leaving someone behind simply for who they are appalls him. He may hate someone, but he would hate to leave them to die because he knows that someone loves them.

At the end of the day, Kai is simply someone who's trying to be happy with himself. Becoming a Drakonrhedi was a gift to him, and he has taken that gift as far as he could. He has little hopes or dreams for what he will become in the Drakonrhedi, content with where he is. But he always strives to improve. It's an endless goal, but to Kai, it gives endless joy.


Hidden deep inside of Kai, however, there's a need to be accepted by others. A small bad remark about him that he overhears can leave him unconsciously trying to fix whatever was wrong, but on the other side, if the comment is good, it will leave him joyful for the rest of the day. As such, he can easily be swayed in what he thinks, does, and believes, but only by those whom he likes. 

Drake (if applicable): Vivian

Vivian is a quiet, shy drake that Kai enjoys. Vivian excels at combat and swift flying, which is something that Kai can appreciate -- being from Armfastrung. The drake seems to not so much dislike people as she does simply avoid them. They are a nuisance to her and only slow her down. The only reason she likes Kai is because he's quick, fast, and cares about her.

History: Kai grew up in a small Armfastrung family, learning the way of the clan just like everyone else. However, unlike everyone else, they soon discovered he was startouched. He had no particular special powers made him distinct from the other startouched, but his sociability and specific magic type made him well suited for the Drakonrhedi.
