Description:

Having been born beside a pulsar, Kvrai's scales are mostly of an iridescent obsidian.  However, traces of alexandrite in the debris around her star has left her scales with an affinity towards the green section of the spectrum. In accordance with her Promethaen heritage, she has an intricate series of plate-like scales. Lithe in build, her sinuous neck is complimented by a long tail. A fin runs down her back and all the length of her tail, making it appear almost like serpentine vertebrae. This is complimented by horns sweeping up from her cheekbones and eye ridges, giving her an aerodynamic, streamlined view. Her wings appear to be vast expanses of the darkness of space, interrupted only by glowing points of chartreuse.

Her standard human form is of a wiry young woman, with steely green eyes and raven hair. Normally, she goes by Aria, an Iduneus of the Drakonrhedi. She chose to wield dual liuyedao, exotic elegantly curving blades, and thus the swords are often found strapped on her hips. Most often, she wears black leather pants and boots, with a pale green tunic and black cloak. Her goggles are made of black leather with green glass lenses, however, she does not often appear bothered by the cold. Being born in the frigidity of space will do that to a person.

In her animal form, she appears as a black eagle.

No matter her form, Kvrai moves with a smooth, easy grace. Centuries of training have honed her already superior instincts and senses into a razor edge, enabling her to fight with a flowing, dancing style. In her non-dragon forms, she is eerily graceful in movement and reptilian in mannerisms. For example, when she blinks, it's awful slow for a human--enough to make someone unsettled, but not exactly enough to pin down her exact identity.

Personality:

As the Eye of the Infinite, Kvrai is expected to go directly into the field and report back with an unbiased version of the events. She is expected to wade through lies, enemies, and the unimportant to obtain clues vital to the Infinite's decision-making process. She is expected to also be able to handle whatever foes may come her way, no matter how powerful. She is expected to be cold, quick, and elegant.

She is excellent at her job.

Kvrai almost has a multitude of separate personalities. On the outside, she usually appears oddly clumsy for her station--prone to making stupid errors, short-sighted in her judgement and an altogether ditsy dragon. She doesn't seem to think much, giving her the appearance of being very shallow and unintelligent.

However, this is not the case. The Silverblooded is in actuality a cold, analytic mind. Her facade is maintained purely for the sake of her job--for, as an agent intent on discovering the truth and facts of matters, she consciously seeks to disarm those around her to wrangle the answers she needs out of the. She psychoanalyzes anyone around her, attempting to discover their weaknesses, strengths, and motives. She takes all of these into account, reports to the Infinite, and extrapolates her own personal view on things from them.

With an undeniable flare for dramatics, Kvrai remains loftily above most other Promethaen. She is haughtily frigid, with a thick shell of unfeeling analysis and pompous pride. Underneath, however, she does have a sense of humor--if a slightly odd, incredibly sarcastic and dark one.

Additionally, she can be incredibly fickle. Although she is internally set on a single goal, she will often take many different routes to its end, making her appear shifty and mercurial. This is indeed true of her; Kvrai can be quite difficult to please or pin down when she feels like it. She will occasionally get impulses to act extremely strange, and occasionally gives into them.

Kvrai is also incredibly severe. Fail her and she will give you the full brunt of punishment that any law or code allows her to--and if there is no code restraining her, you'd best hope that she's feeling particularly fair that day. Indeed, she is strict to the point of cruelty, and has gained a multitude of enemies this way.

History:

Kvrai's egg was laid beside a pulsar, a conscious choice by her two parents. The star's debris had interesting trace elements as well: unusually high levels of mercury and thallium among them. Her male progenitor, in fact, had been born beside this very star, and the powers of the elements and seeped into him and given him the Calling of Silverblooded. Her mother, meanwhile, was Erudite, knowledgeable in all regards.

As she grew, Kvrai began to desire to emulate both of them. One cannot have two callings, however. But when she was offered the position of Eye of the Infinite at an extraordinarily young age, she accepted, choosing to take her Father's calling in addition. A creature as in-tune with mercury and chaos as her, with nearly four centuries of experience, has an excellent grip of her chaos magic. That is, comparatively--she is far from completely in control of the forces that the starlight of the pulsar gave her.

Now, she watches over the world of the humans, seeking to find out more about their motives and history. Much has changed since the Promethaens' last visit. She has tasked herself with infiltrating the Drakonrhedi--they appear to be the most interesting, after all, and under the guise of Aria Kaiedottir has joined their ranks as an Iduneus. No one's entirely sure who recruited her specifically, they just know that it was a good idea--she seems fairly talented with fighting, though she can't control her magic for the life of her.

Other:

Kvrai's OAI Xii complements her personality nicely. Steadfast, she often keeps Kvrai's more fickle side in control. Additionally, while extremely good at reason and analysis, she will often argue a slightly more compassionate view of things, wheedling Kvrai's emotions out of her.

As befitting an Iduneus of the Drakonrhedi, Kvrai is equipped with a drake. Vadaris is her extremely tolerant companion. He's used, so used, to his master's craziness already. Kvrai will often contact him via Xii, thus enabling them to work flawlessly on the battlefield if she feels like it. The drake is not freaked out by the Promethaen whatsoever, after all, the Promethaens did originally fabricate the drakes.  Vadaris is a lithe, swift flier, reliant on agility and grace in the air.
