Damien, Nihaer's OAI, has a relatively good relationship with his Promethaen. Despite not being very talkative, he does his best to ensure that his arrogant host makes the correct life decisions and doesn't screw up everything nearly as royally as he could. Only speaking every so often, to answer a question, step into a situation, or provide sarcastic commentary. Nihaer doesn't initiate many of their conversations, but always enjoys them in the end.

{ you are the ~*~ piece of me } ___description *__
Nihaer's body is constructed not of scales, but of a thick skin-like hide. The texture on the material is smooth in feel, however, it is covered in bumps of the same material. These are not necessarily uncomfortable to the touch, yet they are incredibly primal and make his appearance much more like that of an animal. The blue star's body is not incredibly long, in fact, it measures only 14 feet from head to tail tip. However, his height and wingspan more than make up for this. The distance between the tips of his wings is an impressive 25 feet, stretching out wide enough to carry him a great distance with each flap of the muscles, although it takes more energy than smaller wings may. Gliding is particularly easy for the dragon god, due to the large amounts of air that can pump under his wings at any given time. From feet to the top of the horns on his head, the Empathetic stands at 20 feet. His impressive stature is huge compared to the small size of humans, so it's most likely for the best that entering this form on Earth is strictly forbidden. His entire body is composed of white shades mixed with some very subtle blues and purples.
Nihaer's wings are thin, but not easily breakable, with strong bones holding them together. They feel stretched and leathery, tough but not uncomfortably so. Unlike the texture of his body, the beast's wings are the exact opposite of smooth, and the veins in them are clearly visible, looking like the markings found on a leaf. His legs are covered in large scales, with claws at the end that are a pure ebony, sharp, thick, and terrifyingly filled with power. His tail is also covered in scales, although smaller ones, that stretch out to bone-like spikes running down the entire course of it. These same spikes are found on all the edges of his wings, providing lethal, if possibly accidental, weapons. The same material etches out a plate on his chest, in a pattern beautiful and complex at the same time.
There is a crest made of this bone-like substance on his head, creating a massive complex of horns dagger-sharp meant both for decoration and to be used as a weapon. It creates both spirals and straight figures, but is beautiful to look at and makes his aesthetic all the more beautiful. His eyes, the finishing detail, are a gradient of royal blue and a deep purple, a beautiful mixture.

Humans -- truly pitiful brings that he could crush with the tiniest surge of power. Sniveling insects before the Promethaen gods that they worshiped. Yet Nihaer feels an innate sense of empathy for the lesser species. It is for this reason that as he nomadically travels, whilst checking upon his species' subjects, he protects those whom he comes across from the creatures known as Behemoths. Perhaps some others of his kind may see humans as meaningless toys, nothing more than dolls to plague and destroy, but he respects the quality of life that the fragile skin-based figures have, even if he does not personally understand the hardships of it.
There is a certain uncommon fondness for humans inside of the Promethaen's heart. The manner in which they overcome their fears and succeed despite their incredible weakness is endearing to him. Compared to a large dragon, humanoids are extremely minuscule creatures who will die without heavy protection. Living for thousands more years than any man and having viewed countless generations pass by in his relatively short lifespan, specific human souls don't often hold valuable interest to Nihaer, despite his wish for their well-being, however, there are a few exceptions to this rule. Every so often, he will locate a human who piques his interest and selfishly attempt to have some form of influence in their life. No matter how much effort he pours into fighting off outside evils, however, the soul is always torn the body before the Blue Star Promethaen can age more than a spoonful of years. To avoid the harshness of losing a close personal, he simply leaves before it is his human's time, and attempts not to become too entirely involved.
While he may not be the best at understanding the struggles others go through, Nihaer truly is an empathetic being who cares deeply for all other living creatures -- or at least those that are not a threat to him or what he cares about. He will do his best to place himself in another's shoes, meanwhile holding compassion and offering comfort to those in need, even if he does not often associate himself with others.
On the other hand, however, Nihaer is a very egotistical creature. He truly enjoys being powerful, being seen as a god. There is no regret in his mind that he cannot fit into society as a normal person with his powers. To be something unique and wonderful compared to humans is something he would never give up. There is an innate knowledge in the blue star's mind that he is far better off with his powers and impressive lifespan, but while he enjoys the worship he receives whilst traveling from place to place, he still is fond of humans and is not the type of person to intentionally harm one. When he becomes close to a human -- which has only happened a few times, each time trying to find a family on Earth -- Nihaer worries frequently about harming them, especially due to his incredible strength. Their wars make him particularly distressed, as do the behemoths' frequent appearances. In desperation to preserve their kind, he fights off the beasts that attack him to the best of his ability, earning him a title as a god, although perhaps a different sort than Promethaen's typically take on, yet he cannot do anything but become angry at their wars. He once attempted to stop a human battle, resorting to using his powers in the end to break up the fighting, however, it ultimately ended in the destruction of an entire town and hundreds, if not a few thousand, human lives. This has only served to increase his timidness around the humans he adores.

Nihaer was born bundled inside of a blue star's range. Merely a hatchling, carriers took him to his parents almost immediately. No other children has been given to them, which made them all the more happy that they finally had a family of their own. They treasured their son, and provided him will all he could need, while they tried to teach him that what someone wanted wasn't nearly as important as the greater aspects of life, such as family and love, despite their not-so-rare gifts. However, this was not all that they did for their darling little boy. They educated him in life, tutoring him with the best knowledge they had, desiring him to have his own knowledge database, even though soon enough his OAI would take over the job for him.
They told him stories of the various galaxies, but his favorite remained the same -- time after time, he would ask to hear about the humans. Nihaer loved the tales of the tiny, weak beings who had somehow managed to take control of a planet and survive. He had no interest in the other creatures on Earth, or the legends of dinosaurs that were surprisingly swayed. He simply wanted to hear the greatest survival tale of them all. The stories of how the Promethaens had ruled over the two-legged animals like gods awed him, although his parents made sure he knew that Promethaen were no longer on Earth.
Around his 800th birthday, years after Promethaens had left Earth and recently after Nihaer had helped in the effort to battle off his race's enemies, it was announced that his species was returning to Earth in order to check up on the humans that they had left wondering where their gods were. Excitedly, Nihaer kept up with all of the recent news. He was dismayed to find out there were his own enemies on the planet that the weak things he adored, and as soon as there was information released, claiming that Promethaens were welcome to disguise themselves as humans and head to Earth in order to spy on the astounding things that had happened in their absence, he left for the blue planet.
Since then, Nihaer has been traveling the Earth, finding occasional human company for a few days but losing it quickly, seen as a nomadic yet benevolent god.

* MAIN ALIAS ✴ a clock ticks 'til it breaks your glass ×
NAME;; Nihaer Holst GENDER;; male SUPPOSED AGE;; 26 OCCUPATION;; traveler / benevolent god ANIMAL FORM;; dire wolf DESCRIPTION;; Nihaer's main alias, going by the same name as his true one, is that of a young man no older than twenty six. Standing at 5'8", he is slightly shorter than the average height for human males that age, but still fairly tall. His build isn't exactly muscular, and he is easily identifiable in a crowd of Vikings, however, this is not an issue due to his claim of being a god. Not lanky, but most certainly not packed on all sides with thickness, the strongest point of focus is not on the false body's arms, but rather on its legs and core. Weighing in at 142 pounds, significantly lower than a normal human of this time period, Nihaer could be seen as a bit of a spectacle. The blue star's alias has incredibly pale skin, unblemished by the sun, with no freckles to be found. Nihaer finds the little things repulsive, and does his best to keep them off of his form. This matches his icy-white hair, which falls down to his ears, his bangs splitting down the middle In the front. His usual clothing is fairly standard for the time period, however, whenever he is around another human or a Promethaen that he doesn't hold much respect for, he dresses in "costume". Consisting of tight purple pants that appear formal but are easy to move in, a dress shirt, and a cape attaching itself to him through a heavy yet decorative dark crystal on his shoulder. He carries a small sword that he has no idea how to use, but the blade is sharp enough to tear through flesh and it matches his "outfit" perfectly. His normal clothes vary greatly depending on the occasion. |
FALSE HISTORY;;;
Nihaer's past, or at least his alias's, is mainly a secret, however, he has made up a few minor details in order to support his lifestyle and feed stories to whomever he comes across. He mainly will add things to his "past" as needed throughout his travels, always careful to stick to the premade outline. True to his occupation, his story begins with a discoverance of powers. From there, he moved to a secluded village on land with his family, although they did not defect from their sky tribe. As his powers revealed themselves more and more, he found he could perform amazing acts and use magic far beyond that of an ordinary human. Even his animal form was a stunning beast of great power, a horrendous dire wolf. His parents became more aware that their sole son was not an ordinary person, and other children began to fear him after one too many icy accidents during playtime. However, in fear of his potential, the village did not shun Nihaer. No, rather the opposite. They began to worship him, believing that a new god had been born for a new age. Whether his maturing body or the praising nurture he received caused it, no one could say, but the boy began to increase in power until a few swipes of his abilities could freeze over and destroy a small village without hardly a second thought. Frightened and submissive, Nihaer learned to be the god they believed he was, determined to be benevolent. At the age of 18, he left home, deciding to try to find his own place in the world. For the first few years, he would settle in villages and protect them, however, word spread and he was forced out by spectators and worshipers who followed his legacy. Since the young age of 23, he has been traveling alone, occasionally picking up a human companion but soon having to leave them behind due to their fear of him. Perhaps, he occasionally thinks to himself, they only joined his journey out of fear in the first place. This guideline has served him well in his years on Earth.
