Full Name:
Vezina
Gender: Male
Eye Color:
Stormy grey
Age: 25
Bloodline: Unknown
Animal Forms: Wolf
Magic Type: None
Clan or Organization: None
Rank: Mercenary
(Defector)
Description: Vezina is 6’3, well-muscled, with long brown hair and stormy grey eyes. His skin is tanned and weather-beaten from exposure to the elements. His face has a savage look to it, though his eyes seem to be full of amusement that can very quickly turn to anger. Vezina has long, shaggy hair and a beard just as wild as his hair. For clothing, Vezina wears scale mail armor over non-descript shirts and pants that are worn from travel. His weapon of choice is a Falx (picture below). His is made of iron and has an oak handle. It is large enough that it requires two hands to grip properly, so Venzina doesn't carry a shield.
In his wolf form, Vezina has the same stormy eyes, but his fur is grey with a white belly and rusted red color in some places. He is slightly larger than the average wolf.
Personality: Vezina Is energetic, impulsive, and crude. He rarely respects authority or rules, and is often extremely rude, taking what he wants by force: Food, drink, even women. If anyone tries to stop him, he will fight them. He isn’t evil, however, just a survivor who isn’t overly troubled by morality. All that matters is that he survives to get his payment.
Vezina rarely, if ever backs down from a fight, whether it is at a bar against a drunk, or a full scale battle. Despite his aggressive attitude, he is loyal to the few he calls friends, and he keeps his promises. Once you make a deal with Vezina, he will keep it, to the letter (though it doesn’t mean he will respect his employer). However, if it isn’t covered by the contract, he will not hesitate to take advantage of whatever is missing (stealing drink and valuables etc.)
Vezina is also a wanderer; usually moving on after current his contract is done, leaving behind a safe (but angry) village.
History: Venzina is and always will be a warrior. He was an orphan who never knew his parents, raised by a village where he never really belonged, a place with little or no action to be had. His tendency to cause trouble due to boredom did not endear him to the village, and when he was 16, he ran away from the village to seek his fortune on the road as a mercenary.
His violent tendencies have led him to trouble with villages, even catching the attention of the Drakonhedi, who sent riders to catch him after he decapitated a village headman for shortchanging him. They hunted him for a year, however, he was never caught, as the Drakonrhedi sent after him were young, and inexperienced. They caught up to him once, but Vezina refused to go quietly. They fought, and he escaped, though not before being slashed by a drake’s claws, leaving him with scars across his back.
Soon afterwards, however, Venzina helped the Drakonhedi several times in tracking down fugitives, and in one case, helped evacuate a village before an impeding Behemoth attack. After that, the Drakonrhedi left him alone as part of the deal he made with them: He would help save the village, but they had to stop pursuing him. Since then, Venzina has had a wary peace with the Drakonrhedi, though he still well known by them, he is not fully trusted.
