This is mostly for people who can't art well enough to express an alternate version of their character via artsing.
Or if you just happen to be good at writing character descriptions but made a different take on one of your characters.
For example, I made a dark version of Larael (for sh!ts and giggles, mostly.)
Now is a good time to note that Larael is actually a practice character for one of the protagonists of the thing-I'm-reluctant-to-call-a-novel-but-am-certainly-working-on.
Fateseeker is also her gun that shoots magic.
Without further ado...
=Blood Queen Larael=
>Appearance: Gone is the blessed white plate of her Lorekeeper days: Larael’s armor is now a glossy black. The fabric that filled in the gaps of her armor, as well as a new cape, is now a dark red color reminiscent of dried blood. Her gauntlets have been replaced with bracers, and her palms are branded with a rune of dark magic. Her once serene gray eyes are now stormy and full of spite. Larael’s face remains unchanged, though her beauty seems lessened by her malice. Her hair hangs to her lower back and seems to be unaffected by her otherwise profound transformation, the white strands sticking out against the background of her red and black armor.
Fateseeker remains at her side, though the proud silver of the weapon has been replaced by what seems to be obsidian. Steelsong, too, has been corrupted, and the formerly noble blade is now black, wicked and jagged. She carries a third weapon, as well, a black dagger that she wears around her neck.
>Personality: Larael, for the most part, has remained mentally intact. She still wanders in search of ancient knowledge, though she now seeks to add its power to her own instead of protecting it from those who would use it for ill. Those who have spoken to her before and since her sudden change note that her natural coldness is still present, though it is more of a glacial malice than her old professional attitude.
