NAME;; Arnsvaldr Mirrim Wulfing NICKNAME;; Oswald GENDER;; Male AGE;; 23 CLAN;; Wulfing (Defecting soon.) RELATIONSHIP STATUS;; Single, gay. OTHER;; TUUURBOGAY FACECLAIM;; Shin - AMNESIA DESCRIPTION;; Arnsvaldr, or Oswald, would perhaps be best described as scrawny. His muscle is very limited, and despite his age he still has that lanky, teenage-boy-post-growthspurt look to him. Despite his attempts otherwise (and eating habits), he has not been able to get rid of his thinness, let alone gain the bulky ‘viking’ aspect that he so desires. That being said, Oswald is comfortable in his body. Despite his rather bony frame, he stands tall and alert, and doesn’t look nearly as awkward as one might expect of someone who has recently grown a large amount. Additionally, although he might look clumsy, he is far from a klutz—he has incredible spacial awareness, and also remarkable reflexes. However, these are easily overlooked, something which he intentionally lets happen and exploits. Oswald has rather unexciting reddish-brown hair (picture slightly accents red part, it's much browner). He keeps it long enough to go down to his ears or neck, and most often it’s misbehaving. It curls slightly at the end, leaving his hair usually a mess of odd angles. |
PERSONALITY;;
The trait that stands out the most about Oswald is how eager he is. He is unabashedly curious about the world, in a “press buttons first, think about consequences later” type of way. Anything and everything that interests him is jumped into wholeheartedly, with no glances backwards.
Additionally, Oswald is enthralled by the mysteries of the world. As someone who’s never stepped foot beyond the boundaries of his small village, his imagination has filled in the world-sized blank with dreams of adventure, mysteries, ancient ruins holding untold numbers of secrets, and terrible behemoths.
Despite this, he is also exceedingly naïve. Having never been selected for the Drakonrhedi (a fact that he understands the reasoning behind, as he’s terrible with any and all weapons despite his best attempts to learn how to use them), he is completely and entirely unaware of how horrible and unfair the world can be, stuck in an idyllic dream that he’s created for his own wonder. What happens when this illusion is broken? Only time will tell.
Oswald is not a serious person. Besides his childlike amazement at the world, he also has a very goofy sense of humour that manifests itself in any number of activities.
This makes him a rather pleasant person to be around, if you can also get past the fact that he often uses his supposed clumsiness as an excuse for any and all failures. Additionally, although he is fairly fearless when it comes to adventure, that does not mean that he is not susceptible to being hurt by peoples’ words, although he will always try and think up a way to make it so that he’s the one at fault, not them, as he has a very firm belief that all people are good and justified in their actions.
HISTORY;;
Oswald has had a fairly boring life thus so far, which is one of the main reasons for his dreamy attitude towards the world. Nothing has intruded upon his idyllic fantasy, thus enabling him to remain enchanted with the mysteries of a beyond which he doesn't know the true nature of.
His rather bumbling qualities have made him a bit of an annoyance to the village, and combined with his constant pestering of travelers and Drakonrhedi for stories of the unknown, he's not too popular among his neighbors.
This status quo, however, will not last forever.
