Full Name: Sayer
the Cursed
Gender: Male
Eye Color: One eye blue almost black, other missing.
Age: 23
Bloodline: Hrafnung
Animal Forms: Albatross
Magic Type: None
Clan or Organization: None
Rank: Wanderer
Description: Standing 6 feet, 11 inches, Sayer is thin and wiry. He has a mess of dark brown hair that reaches down midway his neck, and is always unkempt. His beard is similarly messy, bushy, and the same brown, though it reaches a bit farther down than his hair. Sayer’s face is covered with scars, and he wears a black eye patch over his missing eye. His other eye is a deep blue, almost black. His skin is unusually pale for someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, and also covered by various scars.
For clothing, Sayer wears clothing that is patched and worn, all of it given, stolen, looted, or scavenged by Sayer. Because of this, his clothes are almost always mismatched, adding to the strangeness of appearance. His belt contains a sheath for a serrated knife that is about 7 inches long and permanently stained with blood (the weapon he used to kill his brother and parents.)
Personality: Sayer is cold and distant to most people. He hates having to rely upon others for charity, preferring to do things himself rather than owe someone else anything. He isn’t afraid to break rules, or murder if it will further his goals. Sympathy and morality are foreign concepts to Sayer, Especially to Drakonhedi, whom he loathes for cursing him. He isn’t stupid, however, and if he has to, he will team up with other people, even Drakonhedi if it helps him.
Despite his cold immorality, Sayer is fiercely loyal to those who he considers friends. If someone wrongs his friend(s), he will hunt that person down relentlessly and right that wrong, even if it means murder.
History: Sayer was born in a sleepy village, the younger of two sons. For Sayer, his early life was constant misery, as he was overshadowed by his brother, and forgotten by even his own parents. Over time, Sayer’s jealousy of his brother grew, and when he was 15, he slew his brother and his parents with a knife, the same knife he still carries today. He was caught and dragged before the Drakonhedi, who cursed him. No land will grow for Sayer, and all shelter he builds will crumble quickly, forcing him to rely upon the charity of others. The Drakonhedi also put one of his eyes as a more physical punishment. Overwhelmed by remorse for his actions, Sayer attempted to take his own life. However, the curse prevents him from taking his own life (including attempts to walk into dangerous situations.), Forcing him to wander in search of a way to break his curse.
